The weak and the mindless flock to his banner, twisted by his dark influence into powerful, feral fanatics. They say he sends curses to crawl into the souls of the weary. Beware the curses, prisoner. Beware the Death Knight... Escape the Dark Castle: Adventure Pack 1 - Cult of the Death Knight includes: 3 new characters & their custom dice - each a powerful specialist 15 new chapter cards - taking you to new areas of The Dark Castle 1 new boss card - the Death Knight himself, Lord of Decay 5 new item cards - introducing Curses, terrible afflictions to thwart your progress Adventure packs are designed to expand and deepen your adventures.You must have a copy of Escape the Dark Castle to use one. In terms of content, each Adventure Pack follows a similar format - adding new chapters, characters and items to the game. Each pack also introduces a new mechanic which brings a little more complexity - but these new elements are always optional. You can play the chapter cards from an Adventure Pack in order (as in, not shuffled) as a standalone themed quest of it's own. Alternatively, you can mix the new chapter cards into the contents of the main game for even greater variety. If you change your mind later, you can easily separate the cards by set, using the unique codes subtlety printed onto each card.
